We crafted a bold and playful new identity for Trolli, centered around the brand’s vibrant personality and whimsical appeal. The new claim, Let the fun win, became the cornerstone of this identity, paired with the rounded yet distinctive Omnes typeface by Darden Studio. This typography perfectly mirrors the playful shapes of Trolli’s colorful fruit gums, creating a harmonious visual connection.
The updated identity extends across all brand touchpoints, with a tonality and photography style that puts Trolli’s products center stage. The launch kicked off with two humor-filled TV commercials, capturing the brand’s quirky, trollish essence. A large-scale poster campaign followed, cleverly incorporating internet meme culture with ambiguous, punchy statements designed to grab attention and spark smiles.
The new identity also made its way online, with a complete website relaunch featuring responsive web design that aligns seamlessly with Trolli’s social media presence. As the Digital Lead, I was responsible for the entire digital presence, including the UX/UI of the website, motion design assets, and ensuring a consistent design language across all channels.
This cohesive and lively rebrand brought Trolli’s fun-loving spirit to life, capturing hearts both on and offline.
