The Sneaker Pool

What’s bigger than any sneaker release? A 5-meter-long, 850 kg sneaker pool. Yes, you read that right — a gigantic replica of the adidas Originals ZX 10,000 with an integrated whirlpool, built predominantly from HORNBACH materials.

Unveiled in Berlin’s Kreuzberg during the SEEK fashion fair, The Sneaker Pool wasn’t just a visual spectacle; it was an experience. Guests, including influencers and musician Badchieff, enjoyed drinks, music, and a lively atmosphere in a setting complete with lush greenery, lifeguard chairs, and a DJ booth. Hosted by Aminata Belli, the event showcased creativity and sustainability in equal measure.

Born from a collaboration between HORNBACH, Adidas, and sneaker retailer 43einhalb, this project was more than just fun — sit was a statement. As the sneaker market floods with unsustainable, limited-edition releases, The Sneaker Pool flipped the script. It became the rarest sneaker ever — one meant to be shared and enjoyed by everyone.

Sometimes, the most unexpected ideas make the biggest splash. 🌊
