ARTSALVE
IT’S ABOUT ART, MUSIC & LITERATURE.
Turnstiles, Cardinal Points and Control Centres and the Decline of Democracy. What follows is Excess, Anarchy and Bottle Deposit. It’s the Art. It’s the Music. It’s Democrazy.
Between 2006 and 2014, Democrazy was more than just an indie post-punk band — it was a raw, unapologetic expression of love, chaos, and rebellion. With a mix of original tracks and covers of punk legends like the Ramones and the Misfits, the band balanced sharp societal critique with heartfelt love songs, creating a sound that was both abrasive and deeply emotional.
Their journey culminated in an unforgettable final performance in 2014 at the Neuköllner club bar Loophole in Berlin — a fitting farewell to their cult following and the underground scene they helped shape. Known for their high-energy shows, Democrazy’s legacy lives on as a testament to the power of DIY punk to inspire, provoke, and connect.
