The network Farbesuisse is a project of the Swiss artist Raoul Marek and realizes itself with 350 young people [up to 13 years] of the sixteen elementary school classes from the four language regions of Switzerland. Farbesuisse is processual and participatory. The starting point is the following thesis: “Color perception and color perception are shaped differently depending on language, living space [city or country], religion, social environment and individual conditions.” Farbesuisse investigates this thesis and presents it artistically in a multi-media exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne.
The task was to design a visual identity for the exhibition. In developing the appearance, we focused on strengthening the play of words farbesuisse as a word mark, which is particularly emphasized by the emotional and affective color red. A teaser as eye- and ear-catcher is also part of the communication tools, which supports the project audiovisually.
